Previous research has shown that after an acute cardiac event, such as a heart attack, patients feel uninformed about the further course of treatment. Thus, it is often unclear that the possibility of cardiological rehabilitation exists and how to make use of it.
The aim of the project is therefore to develop a digital prototype that provides patients with individually adapted information on cardiological rehabilitation after an acute heart event.
We are currently looking for people who would like to actively participate in our research!
It will be interactive and creative!
In two different workshops, we will jointly develop a solution for digitally providing health-related information for cardiac patients. For example, we will take a look at a hospital room and together we will think about what possibilities there are on site. In the next step, we will draw, paint, make a prototype with different materials ...
Your personal experiences from your professional practice or as a patient and the results from the workshops will be incorporated into the development of a digital prototype. This will make you an irreplaceable part of the research process. As a thank you for your participation, you will receive an honorarium from us and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Further details on the workshops and our registration form can be found on our project homepage.
As a non-profit, Austrian research institute at the interface between digitalisation and health care, we value open and transparent research at eye level with our partners. Accordingly, people and organisations that contribute to our projects are of course given visibility, if desired, e.g. by naming them and including their logos in project reports.
We welcome anyone who would like to get involved in our research!
