What are the aims of the project?
The project investigates public knowledge, attitudes, expectations and concerns regarding the planned introduction of the Digital Euro. It examines how citizens perceive this new form of central bank money and whether information provided by experts influences their views and acceptance. A central objective is to actively involve citizens in the research process through a citizen conference, enabling dialogue between researchers, experts and the public. By combining scientific inquiry with public participation, the project aims to generate new insights into the social acceptance of the Digital Euro and contribute to evidence-based discussions on the future of digital paments.
How can you participate in the project?
Interested citizens can contribute their perspectives and excperiences through the citizen conference. There, they engage in discussions with researchers and experts about the Digital Euro and actively contribute to the research process.
